It's unfortunate that you don't open your mind to having it changed. You're limiting your ability to learn.
That said, your approach is very caustic, and even if I were inclined to try and understand your side of the argument, I probably wouldn't due to your condescending tone.
I know. I'm being a total asshole. I'm behaving that way because I have a really strong point to stand behind, this is the internet, and I find it really amusing. I'm sure you hate me by now (rightfully so) but I don't care because I don't know you so I don't care about your feelings. If I were having this discussion IRL I wouldn't be a dick because I'm not a sociopath. Either way it means nothing.
Well, the other kid said he was 16. Also I must admit, you inability to understand the statistics was indicative to me that you were likely a youngster. If that's not true, my mistake. But for the love of God, do you really not understand the implications of the numbers I'm referencing? If you were just kinda trying to bullshit your way into being right, that's more understandable but if your are well into adulthood and don't understand the significance of a small percentage of people being responsible for a large of crime, that's some shameful shit.
I just wanna close by saying that I'm really not passionate about this argument. It was just fun verbally sparring with you guys and I found it hard to stop because of how easy you guys were making it for me. A smarter person would very likely have been able to shut me down. Maybe not though. I can't know until it happens.
Anyhow, I do like to troll EDC because I honestly believe many men carry a gun as an accessory. Almost like a toy. They like to show it off to people and it's fun for them. I get that almost all open carry guys are responsible and unlikely to hurt anyone. It just strikes me as silly. But I do a lot of shit that other people would find silly too so whatever.
Like I said, it's about the verbal sparring. It's fun and I'm good at it. It still means nothing, though.
