[23/F] I lost all respect for my friend [23/F] and have stopped talking to her. Everyone is telling me I'm being dramatic.

God I've been going through the comments, and you're just really judgmental. People make mistakes. People learn. I'm sure you just cut out all your friends who behave horribly. You're so perfect and moral right? Practice what you preach?

Sometimes people aren't hit with the true realization of how people they are loyal to truly are until they see it firsthand and it effects them. Is that right for people to be directly impacted before acting? Hell no. Does it happen anyway because that's life and people don't handle things perfectly 100% of the time? Yes. People aren't perfect and she is willing to do something about it now.

Do you blame the victims in abusive relationships for staying even though they've been hit dozens of times and should know better, even if those situations aren't always as black and white like people make them out to be? People make rationalizations for those in their lives. It's not always right, be we are HUMAN and we have flaws. OP is wanting to do fix it now though. Get off your high horse.
