24 y/o trans woman, been doing this transition thing for a long time. Here for who needs it.

I just want to chime in here. I started blockers at 17, started spiro then switched to cyproterone, and HRT at 18. I'm now in my mid 20's.

I compare my education in college to when I was in highschool. My grades were night and day.. sometimes. I was terrible in higshcool. When I got to college I cared because I felt more alive, being hormonally balanced. Saying that, you need to care about what you're doing. I think I can attribute some of my more recent successes to maturity.

I think many people treat transition like a fix all. I've never seen it as such. I'm currently trying to explain this to a therapist who thinks FFS is unnecessary. Transition is a gradual process, it takes time, it's full of ups and downs..
