I (24F) don't have life skills

I'm 40 and I don't think most of us ""properly" do half the things in our life even IF we know how to do them. I know I come from a family with generational trauma and autism/adhd. But I also have known enough people from enough socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures to understand that there aren't that many "proper" ways of things and so so many people don't know the "right" way to do things about their bodies because of shame or cultural norms.

I'm not invalidating your trauma by saying some of the things aren't just you or isn't just because you weren't cared for as a child. Many people aren't taught the same even when they come from perfectly loving homes. You may be behind because there's so much or because you feel shame, but it's OK. We all learn at a different pace.

Is there someone in particular telling you that you didn't know these things or are you learning them from various places?
