Again, I don't know all the details, but I'm under impression that the agent is just an office guy who calls you to a chain diner and asks you if you're eating well or if there's a problem at school or what your future aspiration is.

These kids basically live off government's support after all, and the government can't pay for their livelihood forever, so the agent is there to make sure they're not leeching off tax money and become a NEET.

If I recall, either after they reach a certain age or after they get a stable income, the government will cut off their financial support.

But, once again, I don't know all the details. Just some tid bits I heard from various sources.
