25/M/CA Huey door gunner.

Hello r/edc I’m a door gunner for hueys in the USMC. Great sub and I would love to share my flight bag that I carry flying just about every day. I’ve been constantly updating and changing everything in my flight bag for about 6 years that I have been flying. I think I have just about got it down now. While flying I don’t have the luxury of having anything else but what I brought with me and slowly learned what breaks and what is good to have in a pinch. There is a lot of redundancy not only for myself but incase whoever I’m flying with whether pilot or crew chief forgot something I have extra. Usually have a roll of duct tape as well as electrical tape but I just ran out and need to pick up some more. The main components of the bag are for setting up the aircraft for specific missions, pre-op, troubleshooting, and cleaning of crew served weapons. If you have any questions about the gear please feel free to ask. Getting started it is an Ares Armor combat XII pack Mounted externally - Nalgene water bottle - leatherman - giant flathead -carabiners For the main compartment * smoke grenade canister * tomahawk * combination wrench * medium zip ties Smoke grenade canister * .50 cal. link chute pins * Mini gun feeder pins * .50 cal bolt studs * .50 cal extractor arm and extra ejector * M240 gas collar * cotter keys Medium pocket * operating pocket check list * pelican 1060 case * aux cord to hook up music on the radios for long trips * Excedrine just in case Pelican case * wire brush cleaning rod kit * wire and nylon brushes * tw25 weapon lube * safety wire * allen key set * additional pins for the guns BDS tactical pouch on the front(looks more crowded than it actually is) * chem sticks * note pad * sharpie * door pins and extra panel screws * more lube * external batter for cell phone * 5/16th nut driver * headlamp * small zip ties Small upper pocket * ess goggles * tourniquet * midrang gauge for .50 cal with small light * ear pro
