I (25f) get 2xs as many matches on dating apps when I list my old job - why?

I thought that it might be due to an update in pictures and age but had the same experience when I kept everything else consistent.

I still get plenty of matches so I’m not really “worried” about it, just thought it was stupid because a good behavior analyst can make the same as an average lawyer.

In the time before Covid, I even noticed a difference in behavior in guys I met IRL (at a bar/gym/work/parties) when they heard about the career switch.

Side note, since the switch, guys have casually and very comfortably dropped the term “stay-at-home husband”. My sister says that it’s because “lawyer” gives off dom vibes and “therapist” gives off sub vibes.
