I [25M] want to go home for Thanksgiving but my girlfriend [24F] says if I do, we're over.

This is what I'm talking about. The theatrics are insane. I'm not "pulling the rug out." She didn't make plans "FOR ME."

We don't even have plans. We're going to some friends' house. Probably. Which friends? Not decided. What time? Not decided. Are we even really going? Maybe not. What are we bringing? Who knows. What's for dinner? Not planned. Going out? Maybe. Ordering in? A possibility. Getting dressed up? Eh. Casual sweaters and jeans? Also likely. Who's going to be there? Whoever shows up.

She sees her family like twice a month. They live an hour and a half outside of the city. She could, frankly, very easily go home but she doesn't want to because she works and doesn't want to spend the time driving.
