25/F/Chicago Oh goodness. It's quite hard to follow up your introduction! I'm not shy or anxious meeting people, having a conversation, or getting to know people. In fact, strangers always feel compelled to talk to me in stores, elevators, and in long lines. Out if nowhere too! They just go on about personal things and I always just go along with it. I don't mind; I'm very approachable and that's a nice feeling. I use nonverbal cues and inflections in my voice to be inviting and kind.

I feel like I suck at marketing myself through verbal communication upon first meeting. I like to take my time to understand people before jumping into deep conversations. I think this would be a fun psychological topic to talk about (amongst other things). PM me if you'd like to be pen pals!
