I [27f] am considering breaking up with my bf of 5 years

Girl, you are setting yourself up for a life of being the main provider. And I am sorry to let you know but in this economy you need 2 strong incomes to live comfortably. My husband is a pilot and I am in finance and we are still on the fence about buying a house, getting a child etc. If you are okay with the current situation - that’s fine. But as soon as you set yourself up as the provider he will never work himself up bc he wants to be comfortable at home and looked after. Just think about the future. If you get a child- you will be working full time, taking care of a child and doing all the errands for your husband. Most marriages/relationships struggle just with the distribution of child care and chores. Now imagine having to drive your husband to work and cover all the bills as well.
