Liking or laughing is like, a polite way to leave someone on read FYI.

I know this sounds like crazy probably to guys but it’s true that outright rejecting people constantly can be exhausting because 9/10 times you have to deal with their stupid adverse reactions. Guys can get so mad when you tell them no or you have a bf. And just blocking them isn’t always possible, sometimes these ppl are in your circle and you don’t need your supervisor at work punishing you at work because you blocked her little brother who followed you on IG and called you hot in the DM even though you’re fucking engaged. She’s not engaging with them, she’s basically just saying “thanks” while giving them no further convo. If she was continuing convos then that would be significant.
