My dad was raised catholic, but bought into none of it. My mom was raised Jewish, wanted to raise us Jewish. It was never really a problem, we did all the Jewish stuff, celebrated some Christian holidays (my dad just likes Christmas and Easter secularly), and my dad just let it be. That only worked because my dad didn’t have any interest.

Personally I wouldn’t want to raise my children religious, as despite my upbringing I wound up in my dads camp. I definitely enjoyed the cultural aspects overall growing up, even if I haven’t stuck to them, but I wouldn’t allow my kids to be forced through Hebrew or Sunday school unless they asked for it. That shit sucks.
