28yo playing games with 10yo got me deep thinking...

I'm 28 and have a kid brother that's 14. We've been gaming together since he could hold a controller. It's funny to me that you thought you could help those kids out because for me, my brother always ends up better than I am at any given game.

I introduced him to Halo, and at the time I was always top of the scoreboard. A couple months later he was beating me regularly, and often without firing a shot. He loved assassinations and had a gift for it, I tell ya. It was mind blowing seeing him assasinate 3 or 4 people in a row without taking damage. Made me think I had never truly embodied Master Chief like he did.

I introduced him to Rocket League when I was ranked a mere gold. By the time I was teetering between diamond and platinum, he had already achieved champion. Now he's always telling me about playing with 20-something year olds online too.
