29 days down the drain.

Ha, believe it or not i actually kind of like the cold, alot of people around here do, not for the whole winter because the 4 month in a row of icy days gets exhausting but 50 degree weather is right were i wish it always was.

I love being irish, it is pretty great, there is an irish festival in milwauke (the main city in wisconsin) that i try to go to every year. its really fun, good music, good people, good food and good beer. lol you are correct in you assumption that we drink alot and i would say that i fall in to that category sometimes. im not saying we are getting really hammered drunk every night but i go to the irish pub by my house atleast once a week for a couple pints and ha have been doing it long enough that i am good friends with the owner, the all bar tenders and alot of the people that go there. which in all reality is why i think i like it so much.

alright i am gonna be perfectly honest here when i first starting reading when you were talking about being muslim i had to google whether or not muslim and islam were the same religion because i had no idea. im not anti-islam by any means, i here everyone freaking about ISIS in the news all the time but i rarely pay attention to it to be honest. the only new i actually follow is financial news, earning reports, fed announcements about interest rates, merger and acquisitions, that kinda stuff.

I am really not that religious, i went to a catholic grade school where we went to church twice a week, i went to church through out most of highschool but for the last 5 or 6 years just go on christmas and sometimes easter but really not even easter anymore. i still identify myself as catholic and when i start a family someday i plan on taking my kids to catholic church unless my wife is strongly some other kind of religion in which case we can do her church or whatever but i cant say i really think about it at all on a day to day basis right now. And yea there are crazies in Christianity too, not so much catholics but alot of people in the other forms of christianity love to talk your ear about the lord stuff constantly, it crazy annoying.

i would punch everyone that cut in front of me in queus. i also had to google what queus meant because we just call them lines i guess ha. i also like personal space and like to drink so i dont think i would do too well in your country, i also eat pork and occasionally smoke marijuana, which probably wouldnt go over that well.

i think i would like jeddah over or mecca and medina, we really dont have many beggars in wisconsin, occasionally some on the bus but they are all just drug addicts, most of them actually have places to live supplied by the government. and there is almost no such thing as a child beggar in the midwest part of united states, there might be like a few in the south or on the east coast but i actually kind of doubt it. the government piles money at programs for children and most people would report to the police if they thought they saw a child who was living on the streets.

im sure i would be considered very liberal by muslim standards but i am pretty moderate by american ones. we just legalized gay marriage here nationally and i couldnt not have given less of a shit about it(i am straight). i dont know why so many people get up in arms about that issue i dont think it is a big deal, anyone should be able to get married, other than the potential for marriage related tax fraud as filing jointly on your taxes can be very beneficial. other than that i am pretty pro cutting government spending, i like lax gun laws (not that i have ever owned or even shot a gun i just think that the way they are now are fine) and i believe in free healthcare (ha obviously).

as far as where else have i been in the world, a few other parts of the USA, most notably arizona, florida and south dakota. i have been to canada once i think but i dont really remember its pretty much the same as the US and then i have been to france, belgium and greece. went to greece before they were in all this financial trouble and it was ridiculously gorgeous country, went to france and belgium in the same trip and I liked belgium alot more because all of the french people were super snooty and in belgium everything is old and beautiful too but the people are super nice.

As far as living in Ireland goes no i dont think i would, it is amazing and beautiful there and i feel very "at home" there which doesnt make any sense as even my dad lived his whole life here, but life is too slow there to be there all the time, at one time i thought i wanted to retire there but i think that i would just be too far away from my family for that to work. I do very much wish to someday own property there though, a ranch home with a few acres, the idea would be to use it almost like a timeshare with my cousins and aunts and uncles, we all have been there and wish to go back as much as possible and i think having a property like that in the family would make it more easily affordable and would be awesome.

alright so i had to google hijab too so did you just wear one in saudi or do you also wear it when youre in brunei? also do you alway do the full gown or do you sometimes just go with long sleeve shirt and pants? the only reason i ask that second question is because quite a few girls at uwm(the college i went to) wore hijabs (now that i know what they look like) and most of them just had plain clothes on but some of them did the full gown, i dont know if that is like an american muslim thing tho. also do you guys go to church alot? or is it temple? or what do you call it?
