At 29 years old would you go back for BS in Engineering?

If you work at spacex they might pay you to get your degree. I know a lot of aerospace contractors pay for master’s for their employees under a retention contract for so many years. This way you’re working at spacex and earning the degree at the same time.

You seem pretty intelligent, but your jumping around on projects makes me think you might have undiagnosed ADHD. You also show hyperfocused strong interests when something gets your attention.

Let me be clear though that I’m not diagnosing you. I’ve just only met a handful of really excitable engineers who don’t have it. If working and learning seems like much too tall of an order, please consider seeing a psychiatrist with high reviews in the city. I just warn everybody I can now because it can get dangerous if left untreated
