I (29M) work as a residential service contractor for an Internet Service Provider. I have been with my company for 7 years and been inside between 5500-6000 homes for service requests. I have seen so much shit and still get surprised by how some people live and act. AMA

Ah man I don't think I can narrow it down to just one, it would be unfair.

The very memorable ones were hoarder situations. It is crazy how people can just let things go to that extent.
I have been to residences where females were working out of their place as sex workers. Visible condoms, open condom wrappers, pills, and alcohol. Some straight up asked if I wanted a good time and encouraged me to come back after work.

I have been to messy houses, clothes and things laying all over the place. Dust bunnies and spider webs all over the place. You could literally see a white layer of dust on several surfaces.

Some homes had people with addiction issues. Open bottles here and there.

A lot of homes just smell like an ashtray.

Those are just some of the more memorable ones.
