How do you not see that?

I am a bit peculiar through being quite literal at first, I work at it..

All I am saying, is that people will keep talking about her if she keeps making public comments.

That to me strongly implied she could simply shut up to avoid death wishes. Which is a form of censorship. I'd rather they all talked. Well Id rather they didn't but if they want to, why not, and ill say what I think, too..

I grew up in a different time and the writers of criminal minds would pay good money to have sat around the kitchen table with the housewife mums. I played under the table whilst they described the gruesome ends of various people if they failed to bring material for a new frock home from the city, etc. . I never felt a moments fear. No-one in the world would do that with a sieve, a didgeridoo and a claw hammer... or whatever...

My mum was going to kill me for almost everything and is kind of weird how that changed, but it did. Just every now and then people forget. Nowadays we do not describe gruesome and imaginative ends of people for fear of being thought to actually mean it.

Maybe because the ordinary people are not as wealthy as then, or as secure, and people live with an undercurrent of fear of unemployment and far less fresh vegies? Or maybe there is an actual reason, IDK :>
