3 things Amish don't like : government, public school, healthcare system. They've reached herd immunity without any vaccine, little excess morality and keep living as they wish. Isn't that the perfect example that COVID is just about control?

Idk where you are, but this idea that theyre eating "real food" is only half true. There was an Amish dude, definitely young, 20's or early 30's idk, but he spent $60 at the DG and All of it was processed junk. Shit i dont even buy for myself, or rarely i should say.

And when ive seen folks at the Aldi buying groceries, its Junk carbs and such. Ppl put them on the proverbial pedestal surrounding lifestyle and such, but its not so far from how we "English" live. There a lot of farmers in the community, but there's also a lot of Construction folks. Greenhouses, meat/cheese markets, and bakeries. Theyre just like us, some folks eat healthy and some dont. They just avoid Tech as much as possible and live in houses with no power. Some are better off than others, and they like Church. The "Bent n Dent" i used to go to closed because the older Woman's health declined. She was obese, puffy.

Id also surmise that COVID hasn't impacted them as much because theyre not necessarily engaging with that many ppl on a day to day. Thats my observations in my Amish community.
