Intelligence isn't something that you gain in your 30s. You either have it or you don't.

And signing up to a commitment for life at the age of 19 is a major red flag of an inability to understand consequences.

Were you also taking drugs at the time? Putting tattoos on your body? I mean you clearly didn't imagine there would be a future.
