I [30 M] only found out my girlfriend [29 F] of 1 month had benign HPV *after* oral sex.

I don't even know. Somebody told me the HPV was a dealbreaker but that didn't sound right so I wanted to post under cover of anonymity to get feedback from strangers who are looking at it from the outside.

Even just giving me your impression is helpful. We're hanging out tomorrow so I can communicate more going forward, and more importantly, not pressure her. I'm working through a lot of sexual trauma in my own life so I'm in the process of uncovering all of the toxic behavior I've assumed was normal for a long time, but I know it's absolutely not fair and not right to put it on her.

My ego wants to recoil at how passionately you are talking about this, but I think that's the volume I need to hear it at.
