This is so true. Often times, when someone is fresh out of a relationship, whether it be a breakup or divorce, it can be very tempting to jump into a relationship with the first person that comes your way. It’s human nature to want to fill the hole inside you because pain sucks, but this is a mistake. Do the hard work, invest in yourself, and never settle for less than. Find your peace and protect it at all costs. Do not let the wrong person in or they will destroy that peace. Wait for the right person and yes, it’s okay to be picky and have standards that must be met.
