30+ year old virgins of Reddit, does it effect your life in any way? If so, how?

So I was until 31.

It was...complex to say the least. Day to day you're not necessarily thinking about it. You do wonder about it sometimes when you see relationships around you, feel kind of embarrassed when you see a younger couple clearly further in a relationship than you ever been and you just assume sex is part of that. Actually that's probably the toughest part, watching younger couples being happy and when you hear about their sex life. That's what makes you feel behind, not bachelor friends who brag about banging a different chick every night. It's a massive mental weight when you get bogged down by it.

But when I finally had sex, it was a massive lift off my own mental health and my response to myself was more of a "THAT'S it?! That's all sex is?! Wow this was never a big deal, and yet it's a huge deal because it's not holding me down anymore."

Unfortunately the woman I slept with was bad news and it didn't lead to anything (and truthfully, I'm lucky for that).

Here's my only real question for you Reddit: Did I lose my wizard status? I earned that, is it just gone?
