[30M] Are girls ghosting because I'm ugly?

Nah man you're looking at this the wrong way. Yes there's effort involved, but that goes for everyone who isn't born with a genetic advantage of having looks prized by our society. I'm no model either and I've had to work hard to gain what I'd describe as only a minor step up in the looks department. But that's okay. Putting out effort regardless of amount isn't a bad thing, especially when it has benefits for you. I guarantee you that it'll help your self image and self esteem. That alone should make it worth it I feel.

I wasn't trying to discourage you in any way, either. And really I should've posted a disclaimer that I'm a guy and that my opinions on looks are probably different than girls' but in the end that might only serve contrary to the objective point of this subreddit. I was only trying to point out a certain level of reality for better understanding of why girls might not continue talking to you after seeing your picture.

So don't give up my man. Yes it's a lot of effort, and now knowing that your diet is very restricting I can see that it'd be particularly difficult and stressful for you to do what is already difficult for others. But even so I still think it's worth trying.
