I've seen different variations of this. Women seem to be ashamed to admit to their female friends and family that they met their S.O. on Tinder and OLD in general vs. something more 'respectable' in real life. I see things like, "We'll tell people we met at the library" and so on.

They are so consumed with slut-shaming from their female friends and family, that this applies to just the mere mention of Tinder. I don't think anyone really cares these days but you can see the mentality is hard for women to get past.

Side note: If they were at the library, then they'll post on Reddit and complain about being hit on, "Why won't these creepy men leave us alone? I'm just there to study".
