31 yr old and in debt to my eyeballs. I don't know who to talk to openly about it. Reddit, could you offer me some hard advice?

We're going to need a complete breakdown of your finances, starting with all your debt so far, how much you owe and how much interest they charge, we would also need to know the details surrounding your student loans as well. It may be hard looking at it but the fact that you've recognized that you have a problem is a great first step.

Next up will be your income and notable assets. Your take home pay, and other sources of income, any money sitting in your bank as well as anything of any notable value.

Last but most arguably most important would be your expenses. I would say anyone in debt either have had horrible luck or haven't managed their expenses well. This will probably be the soul draining part of it as you get used to a rather dull lifestyle that your not used to, but we will need to have a rough estimate of where your income is going.

Since i'm personally from Australia, other redditors will be able to provide more specific advice. But the 3 things above (Debt, Income, Expenses) would be where we need to work on to begin.
