In previous years my wife has just let me go and find my own trouble over my birthday weekend. I've always had a "hall pass", and she never asks any questions about what (or who) I did, but this year is our tenth anniversary and she's decided to make it special by taking this into her own hands...but she has not told me about any of it.

So when I check into the hotel for the weekend I am quite surprised when the lovely young lady behind the desk says "You're all set, Room 714. And your wife wanted me to tell you that there is a very special gift waiting for you in the room."

I'm a little confused by the girl's statement, but when I push my bag through the room door and look up, I see you. "Holy shit!" I think to myself. "She really went all out this year. She knew exactly what I wanted!"
