Just got a NEW 2DS XL today which is on Ver. 11.8.0-41E

Followed the instructions to-the-T on https://3ds.hacks.guide/ installing boot9strap (Frogminer). All downloads were straight from there so (hopefully) fully up to date. This involved using Steel Diver: Sub wars.

I did everything successfully up until Section IV - Flashing FIRM, as when I now load up Steel Drive: Sub Wars it goes to the Nintendo 3DS splash screen, goes black for a few seconds then chucks me back to the menu saying "An error has occurred, forcing the software to close. The System will now restart".

As I said, I'm sure I've done everything correctly and to the letter. The only thing I'm not 100% sure on is generating the payload with my current firmware number. The version I put in correctly, however as per the website, it tells me to put in OLD (opposed to NEW) assumingly regardless of what 2DS it is, as there's no indication to the NEW 2DS.

I've been through the process twice. After it didn't work the first time, removing the save file, removing the game from my 2DS, then removing all files from the root of the folder (reversing the steps essentially) and then redid it all over again and regenerated all files I needed. Second time, the exact same thing...

Any help would be much appreciated! Some of this homebrew stuff looks amazing!
