4+1 vs 2+2+1 is not equivalent matchmaking teams

Give the game a go. It's free, all content is available right away, without the need to grind, so you don't need nearly as much time to check every hero out.

And toxicity is a thing in every multiplayer game. Every single one, no exception, as long as there's competition of any sort present. So mobas aren't even the worst here.

Dota has way more, what you'd call bullshit mechanics (stuns lasting for up to 3-5s aren't exactly a rarity, many of them are point-n-click, bad performance is punished much more harshly, and there's MUCH higher mechanical skill requirement, due to the presence of things like illusions, turn rate and such), but almost every bullshit has a bullshit counter - the only cases when something is truly overpowered is usually when either their numbers are WAY too high, or they have too many ways of handling pressure - pre-nerf Alchemist and pre-nerf Grimstroke come to mind.

The skill ceiling is ridiculous, but when you finally have it all click, when you see yourself actually doing well, playing and seeing the effects...

It can be a cruel game, but goddamn if it doesn't have that special magic on it...
