Hello fellow keepers. I want to share all my four-person teams that I used to beat the 4* magicites. These times are NOT sub-30 (and some aren't even sub-60!) but it was certainly a fun and challenging task to attempt. I originally wanted to see if I could 3-team Tiamat but failed horribly. My first attempt to defeat Tiamat included Garnet/Rinoa/Deuce. Welp, I couldn't do it. I couldn't get anywhere close to a win because Rinoa as sole DPS was insufficient and those Savage attacks really hurt. I made another attempt with 4 characters and after an hour of S/L, I finally beating Tiamat by adding Onion Knight. At this point I thought I might as well try the other five magicites and to my surprise Tiamat was by far the hardest (for me). After that I tried Dark/Holy and hit another wall but after another 1.5 hours of S/L I ended up defeating both with four-person teams as well. I've seen 3-person teams take 3* magicites on youtube/this sub but haven't found any for the 4* magicites so I thought this was worth sharing. If I rank the difficulty starting from highest, I would say: Hades, Tiamat, Siren, Marilis, Ixion, Midgardsormr, Isgebind, Kraken.
Here are the screenshots with times
Onward to the teams!
Tiamat (40.97)
Hero | Ability 1 | Ability 2 | RM | LM1 | LM2 | SB(-) |

Garnet, 99 | Mage's Hymn R3 | Valigarmanda R4 | MM | LMR | Enveloping Warmth | |
OK, 99 | Chain Blizzaga R5 | Shellga R5 | DMT | LMR | LM2 | mUSB |
Rinoa, 99 | Chain Blizzaga R5 | Abyssal Shards R3 | Scholars Boon | LMR | LM2 | USB |
Deuce, 99 | Curada R4 | Protectga R5 | Gathering Storm | LMR | LM2 | USB |
Wendigo 99, Isgebind 99, Dullahan 99, Gizamaluke 99, Krysta 99
Onion Knight and Rinoa will burn through both R5 Chain Blizzagas. Garnet and Onion Knight open with soul breaks, Rinoa spams Chain Blizzaga and Deuce heals. I think the reasons I won are because I was able to time one of Deuce's USB just before Garnet cast SSB near the end of Phase 2, OK averaged more than 35% w-casts, and Tiamat didn't use a Savage attack as one of her unscripted moves in Phase 3.
Isgebind (46.44)
Hero | Ability 1 | Ability 2 | RM | LM1 | LM2 | SB(-) |

Garnet, 99 | Mage's Hymn R3 | Valigarmanda R4 | MM | LMR | Enveloping Warmth | |

Vivi, 99 | Flare R4 | Chain Firaga R5 | Ace Striker | LMR | LM1 | USB |
Deuce, 99 | Curada R4 | Protectga R5 | Gathering Storm | LMR | LM2 | USB |
Enkidu 99, Marilis 99, Firemane 99, King Bomb 89, Sealion 99
I equipped Enkidu because I was tired of being paralyzed. OK used Meltdown while mUSB QC3 was active, Smoldering Fire otherwise. Vivi has Ace Striker instead of DMG+ RM because I wanted to cast USB as often as possible. It was actually Flare that killed Isgebind because Chain Firaga was long gone at the end. Everyone else died when Isgebind landed and I didn't have enough gauge for Deuce to use USB. I didn't want to mess with Vivi trance.
Marilis (1:09.55)

Rydia, 99 | Ogopogo R3 | Chain Waterga R3 | MM | LMR | USB | |

Paine, 99 | Engulfing Quadstrike R4 | Engulfing Quadstrike R3 | Scholars Boon | LMR | USB | |
Deuce, 99 | Curada R4 | Shellga R5 | Gathering Storm | LMR | LM2 | BSB |
Enki 99, Kraken 99, Gizamaluke 99, Octomammoth 85, Living Flame 99
I equipped Enlil to remove one level of fire imperil from my party. I switched to Deuce BSB to buff Edge/Paine. BSB wasn't cast until ~20 sec because Deuce used Wall, Shellga and Enlil on defense. Rydia self buffs with USB (MAG and enWater). Ogopogo did not do 3 hits. Edge is the only hastega. Last Stand proc'd a lot. Everyone ran out of hones around 55 sec (Edge/Paine are quickcasting, summon hones are low) so I had to start using physical attacks to build gauge. Luckily Paine was able to get out one last USB but didn't have Last Stand to save her from Raining Swords.
Kraken (36.35)

Deuce, 99 | Curada R4 | Protectga R5 | Gathering Storm | LMR | LM2 | USB |
Mimic Queen 99, Ixion 99, Garuda 99, Bismarck 91, Enlil 99
Mimic Queen blinked one of Kraken's AoE attacks which would have wiped me. Otherwise, Garnet SSB/Deuce USB kept me sufficiently healed. OK recast mUSB often so that he wouldn't consume his R4 CT before Ashe consumed her R5 CT. There were numerous counters against OK/Ashe w-casts, but Deuce+Garnet kept everyone healed.
Midgardsormr (48.08)
Hero | Ability 1 | Ability 2 | RM | LM1 | LM2 | SB(-) |

Edge, 99 | Raging Storm R4 | Raging Storm R3 | MM | LMR | LM2 | SSB |

Alphinaud, 99 | Tiamat R5 | forgot to equip lol | LM1 | LM2 | USB | |
Deuce, 99 | Curada R4 | Protectga R5 | Gathering Storm | LMR | LM2 | USB |
Unicorn 81, Tiamat 99, Silver Dragon 99, Sylph 99, Golem 99
I used a combination of Edge SSB/Unicorn to reduce the amount of time my characters were slowed. I forgot to equip an RM on Alphinaud and as a result his BSB CMD1 only did 4x3k. OK ran out of hones, but Edge SSB/Deuce USB/Unicorn provided so much healing that I was in no danger of dying.
Ixion (38.40)
Hero | Ability 1 | Ability 2 | RM | LM1 | LM2 | SB(-) |

Edge, 99 | Shifting Sands R3 | Desert MirageR4 | Ace Striker | LMR | LM2 | SSB |
OK, 99 | Meltdown R4 | Shellga R5 | DMT | LMR | LM2 | BSB |
Maria, 99 | Chain Stonega R4 | Face the Past | LM1 | LM2 | BSB | |
Penelo, 99 | Curada R4 | Multibreak R4 | Gathering Storm | USB |
Earth Guardian 99, Midgardsormr 99, Catastrophe 82, Hydra 80, Hydra 99
Earth Guardian was used to remove one level of imperil lightning from the party. What made this hard for me is that I didn't properly counter Ixion's Dispel and was wiped a couple times from his AoE lightning attack. To survive this, I gave Edge Ace Striker so he could build gauge faster and Multibreak to Penelo to reduce Ixion's damage during the first 15 sec. Between Edge and Penelo, I had enough p.blinks/last stand/hp stock to survive whatever Ixion dealt me. I switched to OK BSB to buff Edge and Maria's awesome LD kept her MAG above the 6-hit threshold for her BSB.
Hades (1:06.40)
Hero | Ability 1 | Ability 2 | RM | LM1 | LM2 | SB(-) |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
OK, 99 | Ultra Cure R5 | Protectga R5 | MM | LMR | LM2 | pUSB |
Warrior of Light, 99 | Divine Cross R3 | Guardbringer R4 | Ace Striker | CSB | ||
Marche, 99 | Assault Sabre R4 | Assault Sabre R3 | DMT | LMR | LM2 | USB |
Larsa, 99 | Curada R4 | Protectga R5 | Gathering Storm | LMR | USB |
Unicorn 81, Seraph 87, Evrae 85, Siren 85, Shadow Dragon 99
This one was tough. Keeping status blink active was the biggest challenge, followed by rebuffing after Dispel. As you can see from the screenshot I didn't have a second to spare. If Marche hadn't died then this would have been sub-60 but luckily I didn't rage quit. This is also the only magicite I brought a CSB to because I didn't have enough DPS otherwise. WoL CSB/Ultra Cure/Curada/Unicorn was barely enough healing for me to survive after Gathering Storm expired. I kept the middle slot empty to avoid double-hits from Strike. Marche died because I ran out of heals. Surprisingly, Hades didn't enrage (and use Death). I'm not sure if Orlandeau USB/OSB would have been better than Marche USB, but I chose Marche because he reduced WoL's cast time.
Siren (48.47)
Hero | Ability 1 | Ability 2 | RM | LM1 | LM2 | SB(-) |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Shadow, 99 | Ancestral Reflection R3 | Shadow Embodied R4 | Hardened Assassin | LM1 | LM2 | BSB |
Raines, 99 | Dispel R5 | Wrath R5 | Scholars Boon | LM1 | LM2 | BSB |
OK, 99 | Ultra Cure R5 | Shellga R5 | DMT | LMR | LM2 | pUSB |
Deuce, 99 | Curada R4 | Protectga R5 | Gathering Storm | LMR | LM2 | BSB |
Dragon Zombie 80, Hades 80, Phantom 86, Necrophobe 70, Mist Dragon 99
Siren wasn't as hard as Hades, but still tough. The only legend dived dark users that I have are Shadow and Raines so I went with them (I tried Orlandeau with USB but don't have enough darkness ability hones for Phase 3). Raines dispels the first haste only. This setup is dependent on Shadow w-casts in Phase 3 because Raines CMD1 only did 4x4k.
