$400 dollars is a bit of a tight budget to be able to expect to play BF3/4 at 1080p without severely lowering settings, so if you can, you'll be playing at low setting probably. Purchasing just 1x8 instead of 2x4 of ram isn't really worth it unless you for some odd reason plan on getting 32 gigs of ram in your system later down the line, especially with DDR4 probably coming towards the end of this year. The CPU uses the LGA1150 socket so you can get some really high end i7s on the same socket, and the case despite being inexpensive is still really well built. If you're willing to sacrifice gaming temporarily, I'd suggesting getting a slightly bigger power supply (500+) and giving up on the video card. You could put that money into something like a 290x or 970 later. Or you could use that money to get an ATX motherboard instead, but mATX should be fine.
