I use MakoCelo so I can see everyone's rank before the match starts and honestly if it's a bad matchup or really bad matchmaking I usually either quit at the loading screen or just drop and search again, but this is typically only when it's a really high ranked arranged team like a #3 or #4 4v4 team overall and my teammates are all low ranked. It's just not worth your time to play a really bad, unbalanced game sometimes when I could search again and maybe get something better.

It also really depends on the time of day you play too. I'm a high ranked team game player but if I play in the afternoon US time the matchmaking really starts to slow down as the European players aren't searching anymore and it's mostly asian players, and many chinese players are simply put very bad at the game and tend to drop and leave right in the middle of a match if they lose 1 squad or something.

Playing allies right now is really stupid because every game you see the same axis commanders on most maps; OKW Breakthrough or Spec Ops while Ostheer players are almost always Jaeger Armor or joint operations for Lefh and pak 43 spam.

I'll say this though, once you are higher ranked, like in the top 200 player rankings the matchmaking does improve but there's still times where it's just fucking awful for the reason that there might only be a few people searching at any given time and the game has no choice but to group you with those people even if they're rank 4000. Just yesterday I had 3 matches in a row where I was with rank 3000-4000 players and the other team was all rank 200 or below and no matter how hard you try in that kind of match it just always goes poorly.
