5 of 'Mission: Impossible' Crew Quit after being Miffed by Tom Cruise's 'Scolding' for Flouting Covid Norms

It's definitely funny seeing the hypocrisy on Twitter with people being massively supportive of Tom Cruise's treatment of his crew yet siding with Ray Fisher's crusade against Joss Whedon due to him being supposedly angry on set, with the whole "hold Hollywood accountable" movement. At least Reddit is consistent in that people here are generally pro-Tom Cruise and will also defend Whedon, arguing in both situations that a tense set where stress-levels are high can justify some outbursts of anger. But people arguing that this behaviour is never acceptable really have no excuse for defending Cruise's actions here, but lots of people are apparently hypocrites.
