5 years ago today, the Rojava Revolution began when the YPG/YPJ took control of Kobanî. Happy birthday Rojava and long live the Rojava Revolution!

Yes I support the national liberation forces that defend Syrian people.

American empire is genocidal at the moment so Syrian people support all resistance. Hezbollah is allied for example with both the Lebanese and Syrian communist parties and is training them and arming them

The Syrian communist party is in the multi-party elected Syrian coalition government right now since it is a national liberation front

They call upon communists in for example turkey and Greece to rupture NATO and start building socialism. Communists in an invaded state can't do this.

In the 20th century the colonies threw out empires with the help of the USSR and China. Without socialism as a geopolitical equalizer to pressure the American empire we are actually at an impasse over what to do.

Most likely genocide in the levant considering only the last twenty years millions have died at this point.

And whatever ones position on China and defending whatever socialist stuff it has left because there's still nationalization of land and agriculture, it won't help the Middle East

They might help with post war reconstruction in Syria for example, but the issue is not to let half of Syria get killed.

We support the army because it is a people's army, not "Assad's forces" but regular everyday people like me and you volunteering to fight al Qaeda and Isis and other mercenary groups occupying their land.

Iran is sending aid to this army because they know they are next.

It's a matter of objective forces on the ground not ideal ones

And yes America spends trillions invading others and privatizing their resources show me any other state comparable to this. Iran helping a besieged state is comparable to 350 NATO bases worldwide?

It's insane to me that we've gotten to the point where no one understands why and how humanity was winning and decolonizing in the 20th century

And that we've allowed pseudo humanitarian neocon language to pollute our spaces
