Is a 50 member gain in 2 days a great start?

It's a fan subreddit for two characters from a webseries called RWBY. I advertised it on their main subreddit r/rwby. Then the next day I posted an update, thanking the 21 members that joined from there for joining and was enthusiastic about the growth of the subreddit, saying it was a success.. That grew me from 21 to 30. I reached out to another fan subreddit for one character out of the duo I made a fansubreddit of, asking if I could advertise on his subreddit, which had 4k members. The creator there was very kind and said I could, but recommended I start cross-posting. So I crossposted to his subreddit and the one on r/rwby. For the first 2 days. I made posts every 1-2hs to fill the subreddit page up with content.
