54,000 Brooklyn voters ‘vanish’ ahead of primary day

Bah, a bot got to my post. A mod will get to it eventually I hope. Until then, here's a link censored version.

That isn't a typo. Why don't you go read the guy? Search google for "Sanders foreign policy", and pull up the campaign link. In the meantime, let me pull out the beginning of the relevant paragraph.

I have supported the use of force only when...and [when] America’s vital interests were at stake

Bernie is non-hawkish. He says he doesn't want conflict (an easy enough a criterion to satisfy, see Trueman and what he said about bombing civilians), and has the voting record to back up the notion that he doesn't support all military action. He doesn't have the voting record to suggest he's anti-war. But lets keep reading:

I supported the use of force to stop the ethnic cleansing in the Balkans. And, in the wake of the attacks on September 11, 2001, I supported the use of force in Afghanistan to hunt down the terrorists who attacked us...we must be relentless in combating terrorists who would do us harm

The encouraging part of sander's war policy is this:

we cannot and should not be policeman of the world

Which is immediately followed with

nor bear the burden of fighting terrorism alone.

Bernie is actually pretty big on military action against terrorists. He doesn't appear to be up for insane warmongering. He isn't any of the other candidates. But he is pro war. I really don't get why people, especially more progressive people, assume that he is the ultimate progressive. He isn't. He just looks that way when Clinton stands next to him. If you want to see where Sanders might disagree with you, try reading this article (or the entire thing if you're a keener).
