55" Sony x900f or 65" Vizio P65-F1

I actually have the 55" 900F in my guestroom, and just got the PQ not long ago for my theater room. Both exceptional, and that's coming from someone spoiled by an OLED in the bedroom. The picture quality between the two, post calibration, is for all intents and purposes dead even given equal HD content, and the PQ takes the lead with 4K and especially HDR content. The absurd brightness and color really takes things to another level. And yes, the 900F and most Sony panels are far and away better with non HD source scaling.

You will want bigger the week after you get the 55, so I say go for the most screen real estate you can afford. The thing with the Vizios that you won't have to worry about as much as with the Sony is getting a panel that is satisfactory to you. I happened to get an excellent panel it seems.
