550 foot fiber run through conduit

There are a lot of factors that come into play here. If you want to run a preterminated fiber I would suggest getting multiple strands (at least 6). It needs to be outdoor rated, and if you're in an area where it freezes avoid gel filled cables. When you're pulling it, if its not an armored cable you have to be extra careful or you will damage the fiber, meaning forces stronger than 10-25lbs of force will most certainly damage it. Also factor in the cost of your optics, Im assuming you're going to be using a media converter, for 550' MM will work just fine and the equipment will be cheaper but if you're tying into their media you'll need SM. Contact the ISP and ask them what their requirements are for you to do the installation.
