Just because you replied helping I’m wondering if you have a second.

We have a backtest going right now, but all the thing is doing is looking at the NASDQ stocks and if they went up, down, ect. Also did some backtesting with a bunch of strategies together to decide what to buy.

The strategy that just buys a stock when it’s doing well is performing amazingly well. It’s buying NAKD 5 years ago, TSLA, and a bunch of weed stocks and therapeutic drug companies. It’s finding smart stuff to buy on a daily basis without much logic other than (did this do well recently, ok buy it for a day).

No matter what we try it’s impossible to break. We’re at the point where it looks like the stock market is a joke to analyze or something is wrong with looking at alpha vantage’s data.

Talking like 20x returns over 2 years. Any help would be amazing to know why we can’t break this thing to show something bad. Be it 5 years ago or right now. I’m thinking going further back could help but the data isn’t super clean/solid from that long ago. It’s just buying a stock when it does well and selling when it goes down. Finds the best winners to do that with any given day. Sounds so stupid it can’t work right, but it does lol.
