6 point-to-point cameras to target speeding, mobile phones, seatbelts in WA. Not fixed - can be deployed anywhere. 3 month trial starting 1 July 2022.

People are complaining about this I find it funny, most people would actually have to be doing over 10 over according to their speedo to be pinged because most speedometers read less than what your doing.

I have drove past plenty of speed cameras doing a few k's over on my speedo and I was fine.

The 6kmh tolerance is actually nice as I got pinged in Victoria for doing 4kmh over with the speed camera set on the bottom of the hill in a rural area. And those fucks give you demerit points for that level of speeding

Just obey the laws folks, it's not hard to speed if you have been driving for a while, even without cruise control you should be able to maintain the speed limit with no issues.

The thing people fail to realise is most of the drivers who speed don't tend to be the most patient, they often are the same people who tailgate and make other poor decisions whilst driving speeding is just a common factor for these shit drivers. And I'm talking people who intentionally speed not the average Joe who realised they doing 8-10kmh over and just ease off the throttle when it happens.

I'm probably mad over nothing tbh but that's my opinion
