And what I said is that ethnic distribution is complex in various cities. If you’re going to properly divide it by ethnicity, and pretty much create an ethnostate, it goes against the whole spirit of dividing by ethnicity when you have a significant amount of people, regardless of their ethnicity, continue to live where they ethnically aren’t from due to internal migration.

However, if you by “current picture of the ethnic distribution” mean the rather simple maps in which it pretty much boils down to “East=Kurd”, then I suppose it might work, but given the population percentages of Kurds vs Non-Kurds (60% to 40% in 1965, probably 55% to 45% ish now) imho that wouldn’t work out either.
