6 years with phlegm stuck in the right side of the botton of my neck

Thanks gotmaps Laryngeal sensory neuropathy seems to be a right diagnostic for people who experiment throat issues such as globus, difficulty dry swallowing (not when swallowing food), mucus and cough due to an "itch", sandpaper prick or mucus. However I guess the constant coughing for over 4 years might have caused my diverticulum. I can't assure this as I have no previous CT scans to compare with. gotmaps. I am not sure what your symptoms are as I believe mine are really complex. I am sure you don't wheeze (my wheeze seems to be upper airway). I also get pain on this area on the right side of the neck/upper chest that sometimes radiates to the back. And I am pretty certain it's not reflux as tests have been ok. However I am sure I have swelling on my airways that nobody wanted to see. In your case, if it began after a throat infection maybe you should give a try to the amitryptiline again. If it affects you too much you can start on really small dosages and build up until the prescribed dosage and take them at bed time. Thanks
