61% of Canadians oppose Wet’suwet’en solidarity blockades, 75% back action to help Indigenous people: poll

"We've got a big problem guys. These uppity natives are literally destroying the rule of law and our sovereignty!"

As is typical with the wannabe pundits on this subreddit -- who make up most of the moderation team, even, so it's not going to get better -- there is no discussion of difficult questions of morality, of the status of indigenous people within our country, of the greviances that they might have here, just irrelevant hand-wringing about established processes ('the law') and pointless speculation as to whether or not their strategies are maximizing public support. These are excuses for people who never would have supported them in the first place, especially not if it put an inkling of inconvenience on them. Intentionally missing the forest for the trees.
