65% of Americans would rather return to lockdown if coronavirus cases spike

Currently, unemployment is paying $2,400 ($600 per week) on top regular unemployment $. $3 Trillion was approved for this, and is due to run out in July.

Some people can survive on this income, but there are many that can’t survive on this income. $2K can’t be enough for everyone in Canada either.

Over 90% of cases have been asymptomatic. COVID is specifically targeting the elderly and unhealthy people.

We need to find a way to protect the elderly and unhealthy, and find a way to let the others go back to kind of a normal society. We need people working, otherwise our economy will tank, tons of homeless, chances for other outbreaks (hepatitis comes to mind), etc...it can get really, really bad, like nothing we’ve seen in our lifetime. Our government can’t keep writing Trillion dollar checks, that is not the answer.
