$7,500 Nissan cash back. What's the catch?

$7500 cash with "regular" financing OR $6000 off with 72-mo 0%. The 0% does save you $3000 over the life of the loan or more.

The deal you linked to only had $1800 dealer discount, or 4% off MSRP. There's still several thousand more meat on that bone if the dealership wants to move that car off the lot.

You get the $7,500 tax credit with this purchase too.

When I got my 2018 S my net cost was $15,500 thanks to 0% for 72 months, a $1562 dealer discount (4.8% off MSRP), $3000 NMAC rebate, $4500 state rebate, $3000 local rebate, $500 PG&E rebate, and the $7500 Federal rebate.

I could spend ~$10,000 now and trade up into a 2021 S Plus, but I don't make enough long trips to make the upgrade worth it . . . by this time next year I might have a Cybertruck next to my Leaf in the garage . . .
