The thing about Atlantic Canada is it's very hard to find a job that pays decent. I really don't recommend coming here unless it's because you are moving for a job you already have. I had neighbours in my building, they were from Vancouver, they just moved here because it was affordable and were looking for work. They failed to do their research, as in my city you have to have speak at least conversational level French to get most jobs, and neither of them spoke much of it. The woman was looking for a job in communications and absolutely NO ONE is going to hire a unilingual PR rep in a city where everyone advertises in French and English. She was unemployed for a year and a half, and then they moved to Ontario.

So...long story short don't come here if you don't already have work lined up.
