911 operators of Reddit, what’s the strangest, serious emergency you’ve heard?

I was a 911 dispatcher in a rural area. We covered a long stretch of road that doesn't see a lot of traffic along 2 counties that pooled their law enforcement resources. A group of hunters went hunting out along this 40 Mile stretch of road with their kids. One of the younger kids was dragging the rifle by the barrel through tamarack bushes and the weapon discharged into his head. As they were panicking, none of the adults could tell me what cross road they were on off of this long stretch of road and they stopped the phone at one point to tend to the child. I ended up having to dispatch three deputies, two ambulances, a fire truck and ambulance for assistance from State patrol to search the area around the cell tower they were pinging off of. We were able to get an ambulance to the kid in 20 minutes, but he didn't make it to the hospital. At the time, I was a new father and the thing that sticks with me from the call is hearing the father repeating "please don't die" over and over and crying on the line in the background as I stayed on waiting for the ambulance to reach them. One of the volunteers responding to the kid was my buddy and he said the kid was not going to make it no matter what, but for years I had couldn't help but to dwell on whether we could have saved the kid if I acted differently.
