[Abdeldaiem] Kevin Durant's adopted brother killed outside Atlanta bar

I agree with your basic message here but this is also essentially you saying that because we need to leave him alone and let him grieve his brother in whatever way he needs to (which we absolutely should, and decent people will), we also should use this moment as a turning point where we begin to accept that he's just a "sensitive" person at all times and give him a pass for all the shady social media stuff.

I'm not a KD hater by any means, he's one of the best doing it and I personally don't much care how he responds to criticism, but the idea that we should not be critical of him because he's a sensitive guy isn't really in line with how being a public figure or sports star works. He has a past of not being super genuine in his fan interaction and he gets criticism for that, fairly I think. People don't need to be cruel (frankly, there isnt ever really a good reason for being cruel to someone, celebrity or not) but calling for an end to the criticism of him as a basketball player/public figure because he has a legitimate reason to be left alone right now doesn't really check out with me.

Much love to KD and his family right now.
