As a man who watched 30 hours of XQC rust content live with 100k viewers since the hype started I can certainly tell you this will be the end of the Rust meta and the PvP server will be boring as fuck. The whole appeal of this meta is that there is a lore and it is connected to every streamer. When an interesting event or kill goes down you can swap on to the other streams to see everyone’s reaction. Abe is spitting the player base and unintentionally is killing the PVP server before it even started. I have 3k hours on rust and NO ONE talks it out and decide if they are gonna to shoot you or not. They just shoot. It may not seem like it but XQC tries to shout and figure out if the person they are about to shoot is the target he is hunting or not. That whole interaction before the kill Is the CONTENT and if the PVP server ever happens it will just be a boring shitshow with no political theater.
