The abortion debate takes an interesting turn…

From the lens of bodily autonomy, an abortion would violate the fetus' bodily autonomy.

The woman's bodily autonomy supercedes that of the fetus', as does her right to bodily autonomy superced the fetus' right to life, because both are dependent upon using the woman's body to survive.

And we know this to be true because we all universally accept these principles in every other aspect of life. Your right to life and bodily autonomy ends at the point at which you require my organs or blood or bone marrow for you to stay alive. Just as I have the choice to say no to giving you an organ, or blood or bone marrow and let you die, a woman has the choice not to allow her body to be used to keep a fetus alive.

In short, one person's bodily autonomy supercedes another's bodily autonomy and right to live if they require the use of the first person's body to survive. We accept this principle everywhere else, and it applies just the same here.
