About early Invasions/Twinks and the behavior
This has pretty much ruined low level pvp. It's sad because early areas have great design and looks but are not used as often. Although you can be a "normal" host and at least have some fun, but invading without twink gear against overleveled phantoms feels hopeless.
That's definitely one of the big reasons but I've seen at least a couple say they do it for the souls. I don't blame them, though, it's the game's fault for allowing it and not counting it as a loss.
That's interesting, how do you know? Is it something in the game files that suggests it? I could swear I've been invaded without summoning or df, but maybe I'm mistaken. Or maybe you just have really low priority as a hist like that.
